Managed Farms Full Steam Ahead
PKW is forging ahead with its decision to implement two managed farms for the beginning of the next dairy season which begins on 1 June 2011. This move has been made to reassert tino rangatiratanga over our lands and to improve the financial return to PKW and its shareholders.

New Farms Supervisor Joins PKW
Shane Miles recently joined the PKW team as our new Farms Supervisor. Shane will work as part of the land team to oversee the management of the Incorporation’s 13 dairy farms and will become a key driver in the implementation of PKW’s managed farms strategy.

David MacLeod Joins the Committee
David MacLeod was elected to the Committee of Management at the 2010 Annual General Meeting following a well contested election process. David was born and bred in South Taranaki and raised on a dairy farm at Manaia before training as an electrician and eventually establishing Greaves Electrical, Taranaki’s largest electrical contracting business.
