PKW Chair Takes Up Maori Trustee Role
PKW Chair, Jamie Tuuta began his new role as the Maori Trust on 23 August 2011 following a powhiri at Pipitea Marae. Three busloads of Taranaki whanui made the 5 hour journey to Wellington to support Jamie as he took up his new position.

Managed Farms Full Steam Ahead
PKW is forging ahead with its decision to implement two managed farms for the beginning of the next dairy season which begins on 1 June 2011. This move has been made to reassert tino rangatiratanga over our lands and to improve the financial return to PKW and its shareholders.

Farms Producing Well
The 2010/11 farming season is looking to be a good season on the back of good production and a higher than forecast milk price payout. PKW began the 2010/11 dairy season on 1 June 2010 budgeting to produce 2.3 million kgs of milk solids on a $6.60 per kg payout.
