About Us
PKW has approximately 8500 shareholders, the vast majority of whom are descendants of Taranaki Maori whose lands were confiscated in 1865. Approximately 18000 hectares of our land remains perpetually leased under the Maori Reserved Lands Act 1955. We are focused on buying back these perpetual leases over time and returning our land under our own active management for the benefit of our shareholders.
PKW is governed by a seven-member Committee of Management appointed by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.
We seek profitable investment opportunities which accord with our cultural values and commitment to long term sustainable value and intergenerational wealth creation.
